Product Highlights

Diameter Adapter

OneAPIPayment Service

The Diameter base protocol is intended to provide an Authentication, Authorization and Accounting (AAA) framework for specific protocol applications, such as credit control, IP mobility, network access and multimedia communications.

Diameter Adapter is a Java-based implementation of Diameter Credit-Control Application that enables real-time billing for a variety of end-user services, including network access, voice/data communications, instant messaging and location awareness. It empowers the new wave of converged services with OneAPI payment functions, such as spending limits enforcement, coverage verification and billing charge processing.

The adapter is deployed into an API Gateway cluster to seamlessly integrate centralized or endpoint-local third-party applications with an Online Charging System (OCS) operated within the core telecommunications network, and enable API monetization.

SMPP Adapter

OneAPIShort Messaging Service

Short Message Peer-to-Peer (SMPP) is an open, industry standard protocol designed to provide a flexible data communication interface for the transfer of short message data between External Short Messaging Entities (ESME) — SMS-enabled applications, and a Short Message Service Centre (SMSC) — core telecommunications gateway that stores, converts and forwards text messages to mobile terminal devices.

SMPP Adapter is a Java-based implementation of SMPP protocol that allows third-party applications use OneAPI to send text messages to one or more terminal devices, and enquire on their delivery status. It also allows such applications get notified of text messages sent back by the terminal devices, and retrieve them upon request.

The adapter plugs into an API Gateway to control the flow of text messages between distributed web or mobile third-party applications and wireless networks.

MM7 Adapter

OneAPIMultimedia Messaging Service

Multimedia Messaging 7 (MM7) is an open, industry standard protocol that describes data communication interface between Value-added Service Providers (VASP) — third parties that offer their MMS-enabled applications to end-users, and a Multimedia Messaging Service Centre (MMSC) — core telecommunications gateway that stores, converts and forwards multimedia messages to mobile terminal devices.

MM7 Adapter is a SOAP-based implementation of MM7 protocol that allows third-party applications use OneAPI to send multimedia messages to one or more terminal devices, and enquire on their delivery status. It also allows such applications get notified of message replies sent by the terminal devices, and retrieve them upon request.

The adapter is deployed into an API Gateway as a service policy, to control the flow of multimedia messages between third-party applications and wireless networks.

MLP Adapter

OneAPITerminal Location Service

Mobile Location Protocol (MLP) is an open, industry standard protocol designed to provide mobile applications a flexible data communication interface for receiving geographical position of mobile terminal devices from a Gateway Mobile Location Centre (GMLC) — core telecommunications equipment that enables Location-based Services (LBS).

MLP Adapter is an HTTP-based implementation of MLP protocol that allows third-party applications use OneAPI to obtain geo-coordinates of one or more terminal devices, and measure their distance. It also allows such applications get notified about terminal devices entering or leaving a geo-area, or their position on a periodic basis.

The adapter is deployed into an API Gateway as a service policy, to allow mobile applications use LBS regardless of the underlying wireless network.

MAP Adapter

OneAPITerminal Status Service

Mobile Application Part (MAP) is an open, industry standard protocol in the Signalling System 7 (SS7) stack designed to provide applications a flexible data communication interface for receiving network connection status of mobile terminal devices from a Gateway Mobile Switching Centre (GMSC) — core cellular service delivery node that enables call handling and various mobility management functions.

MAP Adapter is an HTTP-based implementation of MAP protocol that allows third-party applications use OneAPI to obtain network accessibility status for one or more terminal devices. It also provides device roaming status and network connection type.

The adapter is deployed into an API Gateway as a service policy, for integrating data applications with circuit or packet switched wireless networks.

Supported Standards

OneAPI logo

OneAPI

OneAPI Profile 4.0 specifies a subset of the existing RESTful Network APIs maintained by the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA). It aims to reduce the effort and time needed to create applications and content that is portable across mobile operators.

JSON Schema

JSON Schema is a vocabulary that allows to annotate and validate JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) documents. A pre-defined schema asserts what a JSON document must look like, how to extract information from it, and how to interact with it.
