Case Study Overview

Initial State

Multiple proprietary analytical processing tools are used by different business divisions. Such technologies are outdated and cannot comprehend large volumes of data.

Target State

Sponsored by the Digitization program, a Business Intelligence and Analytics (BIA) reference architecture and technology roadmap are developed, and validated with pilot implementations, to transition organizational data analysis and reporting onto new-generation Data Analytics platforms and visualization dashboards.

The BIA architecture collateral recommends a number of commercially supported, open-source Machine Learning and Stream Processing tools that can process large volumes of customer, business and operational data in batch or real-time mode.
