Initial State

The existing IT Service Desk solution deployed in a private cloud needs to automate user account management workflows involving the internal corporate directory.


Target State

The current Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution is extended to incorporate a leading API Management platform to enable secure Application Interactions between the cloud environment and the on-premise corporate directory services.

The enhanced IAM solution is able to manage the entire lifecycle of the end-user, whether it be an employee, contractor or representative of a third-party service provider. The IT Service Desk personnel can complete the required account management workflows in a fully automated way, in compliance with Identity Governance best practices, corporate security policies and applicable government regulations.
